I do have a video of an audience recording of the band playing at the 1991 Reading Festival. Got it from an eBay seller back in January 2003, and I've never seen another copy anywhere else. I also have a couple of MTV interview clips from after the gig with Andy & Stephen. I think Andy said that performing a gig in broad daylight was highly unusual for them.

I also have another VHS tape from another gig (Slowdive & Chapterhouse). It's pretty dark, but I'm a fan, so I got it anyway.

I could be open to trading/sharing/whatever. Also, I will be at the Chicago gig on October 1st if anyone wants to meet up.

Two further gigs I've managed to dredge up from the recesses of my mind:

06/11/89 CAMDEN FALCON: THE BIKINIS, CHAPTERHOUSE. This was Russ's birthday gig. Chapterhouse played first because Russ felt he would be too pissed to play bass later on in the evening! I missed this show because I went to see Ian McCulloch instead, but my girlfriend at the time did go along as we knew Russ well at the time (all UCL students).

16/03/90 CAMDEN FALCON: CHAPTERHOUSE, SLOWDIVE. I barely remember this show really, apart from Rachel Goswell's singing, which I was quite taken with even at this early stage. I've a feeling Chapterhouse were particularly 'on' at this show, but it's been so long I can't be totally sure now.

Cheers,

Jon.

So what did you all think then? Personally I loved every second of it; it was almost like being back in the Camden Falcon in '89 again! So great to see a band onstage genuinely enjoying what they're doing too. The only bummer is that it probably will be the end for us UK fans forever, which is really hard to accept after such a great night. Fingers crossed they get the itch to play again in a year or two - I certainly can't see any reason not to!

Anyway, moving onwards - isn't it time for Slowdive and Ride to follow suit and return to the stage again too?!
